We announce the death of Carolyn M. Hixon of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Page and Ruth P. Page (Kirkpatrick); her husband Carlos Hixon; her son Carlos Edward Hixon; her grandson Joshua Hixon; her siblings, Lettie Lobeck, Gene Page (Ruth), Eileen Baker (Jimmie), Dale Page (Joyce) and June Allen; and her in-laws, George Hixon (Sonny), Bill Hixon, Gloria Hixon, Pete Hixon, Luela Davis, Dorothy Crabtree (Willie) and Kenny Hixon (Janet).
She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Hixon (Teri) and Patrick Hixon (Micki); her granddaughters, Nichole King (Michael) and Amber Hixon (Justin Brown); her great grandchildren, Kyler King (Allison), Brayden King and Grayson Brown; her sister Joan Grieser; and her sister-in-law Joy Hixon.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504). A reception will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Littleton & Rue (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503).
