She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Mapes and Sheldon Mapes. She is survived by: her husband George C. Kirkland; her grandchildren, James Baker and Carol Kirkland; her siblings, Voris Mapes and Geneva Rice (Sidney Rice); her daughter Carol Padolsky (Anson Padolsky); her grandchildren, James M Baker (Reia Baker), Carol L Kirkland (William J. Collins) and Donna Whiteley; and her great grandchildren, Adrian Daluddung, Abrielle Laguit, George Baker, Patrick Baker, Isabella Victoria Baker and Kira Whiteley.
