We bid farewell to Charlene Burkitt of Springfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Charlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter and Myrtle Necessary (Blevins); her husband Robert Theodore Burkitt; her son Robert Wayne "Bobby" Burkitt; and her siblings, Kenneth Randall Necessary and Eula Jean Dyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Montero (Henry), Cheryl Owens (Rodney) and April White (Gavin); her grandchildren, Christian Miller (Nick), Meghan Rojas (Niger), Cassie Owens, Allyson Spencer (Chase), Hannah, Benjamin, Jayden and Jacob White; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Elliana, Lucy, Aiden and Adalyn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the RiverSong Church (3660 Springfield Jamestown Rd, Springfield, OH 45502). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
