He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Hill and Alma Ivo Hill (Corbet). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Baird Hill; his children, Susie Hill of Long Beach, California. and Brian Hill of Long Beach, California.; and his cousins, Paul Allen Hill Jr. of Palm Springs and Philip Hill (Teresa) of Urbana. He is also survived by several second cousins and many friends.

He requested that any monetary donations be made to Northridge United Methodist Church.
