He was predeceased by: his father Roger Dingledine; his wife Lois L. Dingledine; and his son Daniel David Dingledine Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Newman, Debra Patten (Dennis), Roger Dingledine (Tammie) and Sandy Pierce (Jesse); his brother Richard Dingledine; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Bostick and Marcia Bostick. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
