He is survived by: his children, Darien Higgenbottom, Jr., Deanna Reed and DeAaron Long; his grandsons, Khylon Clay and Khamani Reed; his parents, Lavonda Simpson (Gene) and Tommy "Tuck" Clayborne; his siblings, Melissa Evans (Maurice), Stephanie Higgenbottom, Dana Clayborne and Robert Evans; his nieces, Tyra Higgenbottom, Kayla Parks and Donjanae Higgenbottom; his great-niece Lundyn McIntosh; his great-nephew Noavon Morrison; and his friends, Terrence Crowe, Jimmy Compton, Kevin Jeffrey and Nancy Cosby. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
