He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Scarberry and Maria Scarberry (Arthur); his granddaughters, Tamara and Taylor Ruby; his siblings, Richard and Peggy; and his foster parents, Elmont "Mutt" Kerns and Wanda Kerns.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Ruby (Andrew) and Kevin Scarberry (Krista); and his grandchildren, Talena Ruby, Kalin Bard (Wesley), Kevin "Arnie" Scarberry and Zack Campbell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
