David Lewis Leininger Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lewis Leininger of Springfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Wilbur and Florence Marie Leininger (Smith); and his sister Susan Deckling. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Maurey; his children, Andrew Leininger (Sarinda) of North Carolina and Luanne Leininger of Bellefontaine; his grandsons, Edward Leininger (Hannah) of North Carolina and Eric Leininger of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Emmett of North Carolina, Heidi of North Carolina, Eliza of North Carolina and Grace of North Carolina; and his sister Barbara Cramer (Joe) of Russells Point. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
