She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Smith and Barbara Woods-Smith (Woods). She is survived by: her husband Carl Clark; her children, Kristen Clark, Kiiesha Brown, Eric Clark (Kandice), Aaron Clark (Cassandra) and Artie Woods (Carla); her siblings, Patricia Woods-Smith (Lynne Courtney), Debra Baker (Terry), Sheila Frierson and Marc Smith (Sarah); her close friend Vicki Haggins; her grandchildren, Zyiiesha Evans, Zyaaron Woodruff (Butter), Kamarah Clark, Cameron Clark, Marcus Clark, Selah Clark and Kaia Clark; and her uncle James (Ella Smith).

In lieu of flowers, the family of Diane Clark asks for donation of books for kids grades (Pre-K through 12).
