It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dianne Jeanette Thompson of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Thompson and Señora J. Thompson (Gibson); her daughter Cheryl Thompson; her siblings, Richard Gibson, Charles Thompson Jr., Charlotte Jones and Michael Thompson; her grandson Michael White; and her great great grandchild Kyrei.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Threatt (William) and Derrick Thompson (Susan); her sister Josephine Cole (Charles); her grandchildren, Jayson Thompson Sr. (Michelle), Marcus Thompson Sr. (Kandas), Thomas White (Kibibi), Courtney White, Dontae Threatt, Shontae Threatt, Amiryon Bailey and Allika Biswas; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Marcus, Mariah, Jayla, Mia, Izabella, Aniah, Jayson, Kamyra, Journee, Rashaad and Raquan; and her close friends, Sandy Crawford, Frieda Thompson and Esther Kelly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Powerhouse Church of God (311 W High St, Springfield, OH 45506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
