With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Mae Higbee of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Strait and Lucille Strait (Yates); her husband Russell Eugene Higbee, Sr.; her son Russell Eugene Higbee, Jr.; her son-in-law Douglas Gene Stevenson; her sisters, Joyce Ann Page and Peggy Jean Hinshaw; and her sister-in-law Sally Kay Strait.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Lynn Higbee Stevenson; her brothers, James (Bud) and Vernon Strait (Dick); her grandchildren, Cheri Ann George (Paul), Dr. Heidi Lynn Stevenson and Brian Douglas Stevenson (Eileen); and her great grandchild Brantley Douglas Stevenson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
