It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy E. Higginbotham of Springfield, Ohio, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Starling and Janie Mae Starling (Suttles); her former husband Robert Toliver; her husband Richard Higginbotham; and her siblings, Winferd, LaFances Ferguson (Starling), Arlene, Ogletree, James Jr., Horace Robert and Edward.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Gaines (Micheal), Bobbi Gault (William) and Delmar Jones; her grandchildren, KaWambee Gaines, Ajamu Gaines, Kizzy Ragland (Rodney), Terry Toliver (Dawn), Christopher Gault, Kwana Jones Becker (Christopher) and Derek Jones; and her sister-in-law Agnes Starling. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
