With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy M. Halula of Springfield, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on December 4, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Augustine and Josephine Augustine (Sobieski); her husband Edward Halula; her daughter Maureen Halula; her son-in-law James Schuyler; and her siblings, Stanley, Chester Augustine, Sophie Keenan, Helen Wtorkowski and Adela Kowinsky.
She is survived by: her children, Loraine Schuyler, Sandy Garrity (Tim), Jerry Halula (Mary) and Barbara Stelzer (Todd); her grandchildren, Mike Schuyler (Christine), Philip Schuyler (Lauren), Nick Schuyler, Sarah Moorman (Chris), Joe Halula, Stephen Stelzer and Brittany Stelzer; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Drake, Jaedyn, Ivo, Adeline, Eleanor, Payton, Tristen, Grayson and Weston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Teresa Catholic Church (1827 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Saint Bernard Cemetery (27 W Home Rd, Springfield, OH 45504).
