He is survived by: his wife Kathy Vandiford; his children, Chris Vandiford (Sophia), Douglas Vandiford, II, Susan Hatcher (Rick), Heather Ahee (Jack) and Melissa Lewis; his sister Sharon Miller (Randy); his grandchildren, Chase Burton, Chelse Martinez, Christopher Vandiford (Sabrina), Chandler Vandiford (Katie), Emily Kinman (Jesse), Lauren Hatcher, Ricky Hatcher and Luke Hatcher; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Evelyn, Armani, Kal, Hal, Jonathan, David and Maggie; his nephews, Ray Vandiford (Debby), Brian Vandiford (Rena), Kevin Willoughby and Daniel Nelson; his niece Sarah Gullett; his uncle Larry Toler; and his brother-in-law Stephen Nelson (Amanda).
