She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Kirkwood and Ruth Kirkwood (Grimm); and her brother-in-law Robert Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Anderson; her daughter Julie; her son-in-law Jeff Scanlan; her brothers, Clifford Kirkwood Jr. (Linda) and Craig Kirkwood (Ruthanne); her grandsons, Cory Scanlan (Emma Cox), Drew Scanlan (Olivia) and Taylor Scanlan (Cheyenne Sarver); her great grandchildren, Cole, Stella, Hadley and Walker; her parents-in-law, Charles and Iva Lou Anderson; her brother Curly; and her sister-in-law Maxine DesCombes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (4781 S Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45502).
