She was predeceased by: her father Paul Watters; her former husband Howard Newell; her husband H. Dean Smith; and her sister Jan Monan. She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Johnson (Rex) and Laura Robinson (Kenneth); and her grandchildren, Misty VanDusen (Eric), Katie Veselka (Brian), Veronica Johnson, Heather Cikity, Nicholas Haydu and Lance Robinson. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Eunice's name to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
