He is survived by: his wife Mary Rife (Smith); his son Monte Rife (Julie); his siblings, Midge, Jo, Gloria, Charles and Don; his stepchildren, Sabrina Everhart (Scott), Roger Hawes (Teresa) and Jonathan Hawes (Julia); his grandchildren, Jason, Dillon, Monte Jr., Virgil and Jaci; his stepgrandchildren, Cheyenne, Hunter, Nathan, Noah, Michael and Mishelle; his great grandchild Coraline; and his close friends, John Hilderbrand and Curt Cox.
