He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pappert Jr. and Marjorie Pappert (Lancaster). He is survived by: his wife Linda Pappert (Collins); his children, Kim Harris (Brad), Michelle Near (Jim Cellar) and Mark Hackathorn (Shannon); his grandchildren, Korie Near, Brice Near, Cohan Cellar, Addyson Harris, Savannah Hackathorn and Emma Hackathorn; his siblings, Mike Pappert (Cathy) and Becky VanHoose; his pet Gigi; and his friends, Nate Brown (Bernie) and Kelly Kise (Ruth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or North Hills Church of God in George's honor.
