George leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. George’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew George will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Mary (Gingery) Parsons; children: Marie Parsons, Frank (Maureen) Parsons, Ed (Brandy) Parsons and George Parsons Jr.; siblings: Tom Parsons (Vivian), Donna (Rick) Brown and Charles (Starla) Parsons; parents: William and Pollie (Raleigh) Parsons; siblings (deceased): Carl, Dora and Evelyn; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the food pantry at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 712 N. Fountain Avenue, Springfield, OH 45504, or to a charity of your choice.
