With sadness, we share the passing of Gloria Armstrong of Springfield, Ohio. Gloria, born on February 16, 1943, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Steven and Pearl Ann Smith (Phenis); her daughter Kandy Kay Campbell; and her siblings, Bobby Smith, Carolyn Race and Jerry Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Merritt, Debbie Merritt-Strub (Darren), Vicky Campbell-Minter (Mark) and Tracy Campbell; her grandchildren, Darci O'Neill (Nick), Demi Cline (Alex), Delani Strub, Leslie Limo, Johnathan Rosser, Whitney Rosser, Zach Campbell, Leighvi Powell (Gregory Camel), Pep Powell, Breon Campbell, Bryan Campbell, Brandon Campbell and Brandace Campbell (Tyrone); and her caregiver Connie Lookabaugh. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hugh Taylor Building (1707 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505).
