It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Payne (Springfield, Ohio), who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen E. Payne to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Roy Crabtree; her husbands, Donald Payne and Joe Beverly; her sons, Larry Lee Payne, Roy Eugene Payne, Richard Allen Payne and Michael Ray Payne; her grandchildren, Jason Fuller and Amber Payne; and her siblings, Nellie, Everett, Kenneth, Marie, George, Virginia, Mildred, Peachie and Jane.

She is survived by : her mother Effie Crabtree; her children, William "Bill" Anthony Payne and Helen Lorraine Pierce (Michael); and her sister Mary Elder. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial (838 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
