We bid farewell to Helen M. Johnston of Springfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband J. Farrell Johnston (Bud); her daughter Jennifer Baader Holm; her son-in-law James W. Baader; her grandson Peter Jacob Baader; and her siblings, Ivan Grilliot (Virginia), Eulena Sherman (August), Robert Grilliot (Helen), Verus Grilliot (Rose Ann), Francis Grilliot (Betty), Linus Grilliot (Vivian), Roberta Grilliot, Lowell Grilliot (Charlotte) and Elfreda Love (Charles).

She is survived by: her children, Bradley Johnston (Angel) of Springfield and Ann Johnston (Maura) of Cincinnati; her son-in-law Todd Holm; her sister-in-law Susannah Versandi; and her grandchildren, Adam Johnston (Amanda), Shawn Johnston (Dani), Ashley Davis (Adam), Kyle Johnston, Marcus Holm (Ben), Cassandra Wright (David) and Michael Baader. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa Church, Day City Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
