She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Fred D. Gaskins and Gladys V. Gaskins (Dunnaville); her husband Leroy H. Sutton; her children, Cecelia Sims, LeRoi Sutton and Tracee Sutton; her brothers, Fred D. Jr., Dr. John F., Nelson D. and Homer E. Gaskins; and her son-in-law Gary L. Sims.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, G. Christopher Sims (Dawn) and Dana Sims (Mark Wilder). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and close friends.
