He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Merritt and Bertha Merritt (Crone). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joan (Phillips); his sister Joella; his brother-in-law Harold Stevenson; and his friends, Wayne Crew and Mick Moor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
