He was predeceased by: his parents, Creighton P. Swartzbaugh and Alice Louise Swartzbaugh (Inskeep); and his sister Beverly Jean Owen. He is survived by: his wife Judith (Judy); his children, Nikki Patterson (Wolf) of Knoxville, TN and Traci Wehlau (Russ) of Springfield; and his nieces and nephews, Beverly Jean Ross, Josiah Ross, Veronica Ross, Diantha Medici, Artemas Ross, Allen Ross, Desiree Bowman (Tony) and Dana Wehlau.
