He was predeceased by: his son Isaiah Gantt; and his sister Yvette Gantt. He is survived by: his wife Kristen Cunningham; his daughter Yvette Cathline Ashley Gantt; his stepchildren, Haley Newport and Jordan Newport; his children, Ja'Kori Mykel Watkins and Jada Marie Watkins; the mother of his children Brittany Watkins; and his children, Semaj Gantt, Samar Gantt and Amari Gantt (Melanie Burba).
