James E. Scoby Obituary
The memory of James E. Scoby (Springfield, Ohio), who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles Scoby and Marcella Parcels Scoby Clary; and his wife Jimmelyn Chandler Scoby. He is survived by: his children, Dustin Stewart (Kristen), Brett Stewart (Kelsey) and Allison Sebastinas (Noah); his grandchildren, Morgan, Brooklyn, Hayden, Addisyn, Jay and Reese; his sister Elaine Garrison (Jeff); his niece Leslie Garrison Mitchell; and his nephew Turner Garrison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister and brothers-in-law.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maiden Lane Church of God (1201 Maiden Ln, Springfield, OH 45504).
