He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Hildebrand and Virginia Hildebrand (Bostic); and his daughter Heather Hildebrand-Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hildebrand (McMullen); his children, Michael Hildebrand (Becca), Donald Robinson and Kristin Swindler (Scott); his grandchildren, Kailyn Swindler, Scott Swindler, Courtney Robinson, Lilly Robinson, Alexis Keeton, Myah Hildebrand and Alex Hildebrand; and his siblings, David Hildebrand (Diane), Tom Hildebrand (Misty) and Julie Ungashick (James). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
