He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Horn and Mary Katherine Horn (O'Flaherty); and his granddaughter Molly Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Horn (Garrity); his children, Tom Horn (Virginia), David Horn (Jill), Julie Scheaffer (Mark), Mary Aldridge and Marcia Gibson (Dennis); his sister Mary Rae Glaser (Bill); his niece Kathy Mahacek (Ray); and his nephew Nick Glaser. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
