It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lawrence Oppy Sr. of Springfield, Ohio, born in Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Denver James "DJ" Oppy (Crystal); his parents, Denver Francis Oppy and Betty Irene Osborne (Edingfield); and his siblings, Jasper, Julie and Patty.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Oppy (Biddle); his children, Jane Watkins (Brian), Nicole Smith (Rick), Melissa Oppy, Timothy Oppy (Patty) and Jamie Watkins (Dave); his brothers, Denver and Terry Oppy; and his half-brothers, Russell, Bo and Johnny Osborne. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
