He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Howard Phillips and Margaret M. Phillips (O'Brien); his wife Mary Ellen Phillips; and his siblings, Margaret Mullins, Nancy Hirst, Terry Phillips and Patti Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Phillips, Katie Phillips, Colleen Smith (Gerritt) and Jimmy Phillips (Julie); his grandchildren, Aidan, Ellah Smith, Brendan, Keegan and Liam Phillips; and his sister Linda Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
