He is survived by: his wife Sharron L. Carpenter (Butler); and his children, Rick Carpenter (Marty), Tim Carpenter (Carla), Dave Carpenter (Aria), Bob Carpenter (Janet), Chris Carpenter, Angie Scanlan (Brian) and Jason Egger (Jenny). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
