He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant "Bud" Cordell and Anna Ruth Cordell; and his siblings, Donald, Daniel and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; and his children, Angela Tyree (Kenie), Gregg Cordell (Judy), Todd Cordell (Lanay) and Gina Stuckey (Doug). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
