With sadness, we share the passing of James Henry Young of Springfield, Ohio. James, born on July 10, 1958, passed away on October 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Young and Edna Dannaker; his siblings, Gwen Taulbee and Mark Wagner; his nephew JJ; and his mother-in-law Norma Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Cindy, Scott, Jason, Heather, Terry, Jim, Brenda, Troy, Jimmy, Amie and Adored; his grandchildren, CJ, Cayla, Chris, Skyler, Braeden, Haley, Brendan, Macey, Grayson, Lynzy, Trinity, Tana, Kayson and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Renesmae, Annalina, Rosalina, Nova and Clayton; his brothers, Bill and Donny; and his stepmother Joanie Young. He is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
