Joann Marie left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Thornton and Anna Thornton (Faye); her husband Thomas Nuss; her daughter Sharon; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Nuss (Carol), Tim Nuss, Sue Ulliman and Mike Nuss (Carol Sharitz); and her grandchildren, Darius, Lajuan, Kerby (Carol), Ryan, Nick (Emeline), Ben, Kelsey (Mike), Emily, Katie (Jeremy) and Daisy. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Saint Bernard Cemetery (27 W Home Rd, Springfield, OH 45504).
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Vincent de Paul.
