He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest E. Stumbo (Bud) and Caroline Stumbo; and his daughter Devin Hammonds. He is survived by: his son John Stumbo II; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Zachary, Katelynn and John III; his great grandchild Maverick; his siblings, Debbie Frank, Ginny McAnally and Buddy Stumbo; and the mother of his children Adele Adkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
