He was predeceased by: his father Joseph W. Kelly; his wife Carol; his daughter Kathleen Bassell; his grandson Mark; his brother James W. (Jane Kelly); and his son-in-law James T. Callahan.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Callahan, Joseph Kelly (Heidi) and Mary Cornell (Steve); and his son-in-law Michael Bassell. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church or the Animal Welfare League of Springfield.
