John Joseph Staggs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 90, John Joseph Staggs (Springfield, Ohio), born in Adams County, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Staggs and Nettie Staggs (Bowles); his son Joseph Michael Staggs; his friend Jim Prether; and his siblings, Myrtle Staggs, Thelma Staggs, Stella "Mae" Moore and Arthur Staggs.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Staggs (Hopkins); his daughter Janette Reedy (Edward Bentley); and his granddaughter Crystal Reedy (Kyle Lichtenberg). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clifton United Presbyterian Church (183 Jackson St, Yellow Springs, OH 45316). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to go to their church, Clifton United Presbyterian Church.
