He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Adkins and Maudie Adkins (Mullins); his wife Barbara Adkins (Roberts); and his siblings, Pauline Roark, Bertha Lee Dunn and Billy Gene Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Danny L. Adkins (Sherry Bean) of Springfield, Richard Adkins of Springfield, Deborah Thibault (Christopher) of Springfield and Melissa Martin (Mike) of Springfield; his brothers, Frank Lee Adkins and Blaine Adkins; and his grandchildren, Ashley Holland, Amber Summers of Steven Summers, D. J, Katie Bowers, Seth Adkins, Spencer Assini, Travis Adkins, Kyle Adkins, Samantha Martin, Jennifer Martin and Kaitlyn Martin. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.
