He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Oda and Edith Oda (Woosley). He is survived by: his wife Becky J. Oda (Barnhart); his children, Beth Patterson (Charlie) and Rob Oda (Carrie); his sister Sylvia "Sis" Stockslager (Lee); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex Oda, Sarah Blue (Cody), Kara Gummel (Josh) and Kate Patterson; and his great grandchild Tommy Blue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
