He is survived by: his wife Deb Burson Patton; his children, Belinda Stickle (Steve), Debbie Smith (Bill), Pam Tamplin (Chad), Stephanie Grogg (Matt), Sheryl Patton (Andy Cornwell), Jeff Patton and John Jr. Patton (Laura Osseck); his grandchildren, Ashley Welborne (Shane), Kayla Smith (Alan), Jacob Stickle, Abby, Andrew, Alex, Ashton Tamplin, Tyler, Trevor, Hannah, Haley Grogg, Mackenzie Gieszl, Jackson, Brody Patton, Evelyn and Owen Patton; his great grandchildren, Hallie and Sadie Welborne; his mother-in-law Marge Cozad; his siblings-in-law, Mark Burson (Brenda), David Burson and Sandy Patton; his nieces and nephews, Cheyann Conley (Craig), Melissa Vigil, Tracee Patton, Thom Willems and Jim Patton; and his pet Ozzy.
