He is survived by: his wife Willetta Langley (Dawson); his daughters, Sheri Hughes of Florida and Tamara Carlisle of Columbus; his grandchildren, Tara Smoker of Indiana, Billie Durate of Columbus, Kai Carlisle of Columbus and Koori Carlisle of Columbus; his stepson Jason Price (Laura) of Urbana; his stepgrandson Drew Price of Urbana; and his siblings, Ruth Whaley (Quinlin), Sylvia Deskin of Albuquerque, Nancy Foust (Kenneth) of Lordsburg, Susie Slaughter of Denver, Colorado and David Henry Langley of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
