She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Thornburg and Marjorie Thornburg (Everhart); and her brother Tom Sutherland (Robert Kennedy). She is survived by: her daughter Kaleigh Cummins; her significant other Darrin Williams; her brothers, Richard Sutherland (Denise) and Larry Sutherland (Barb); and her sister-in-law Debbie Sutherland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
