She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Martin and Hester Martin. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Hess; her sons, Robert Hess (Andrea), Brian Hess and Brent Hess; her grandchildren, Nia Tackett, Nick Hess, Jacob Hess, Blakeley Hess and Ava Hess; her great grandchild Victor Tribby; her siblings, Larry Martin (Connie), Kevin Martin (Vickie) and Fonda Younker (Brandi); and her nieces and nephews, Dustin Martin, Danielle Roeser, Jamie Chandler, Jason Chandler, Andy Martin and Jake Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Kay's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital for Cancer Research.
