He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Barnhart and Elsie Barnhart; and his sisters, Ethel Stocksdale, Marie Grisso, Nellie Young and Verna Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Leffel); his daughter Diana (Lewis); and his grandsons, Gregory and Benjamin. He is also survived by four great-grandsons.
