We announce the death of Kent B Harkins of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 71. Kent will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Harkins and Margie June Harkins (Brown); his siblings, Keith, Gene, Craig, Judy Hoskinson and Sue Arnold; and his niece Janeice Arnold.
He is survived by: his close friend Cindy Oiler; his granddaughter Madison Gladman (Martha Reagan); his brothers, Scott Harkins (Ginny) and Neil Harkins (Janice); Johanna Gladman (Larry) and George H. Oiler, III. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Cindy's extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
