He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafeyette Durfey and Marie Durfey (Miller); and his siblings, David Durfey and Carol Paffenberger. He is survived by: his wife Janet Durfey (Schmokel); his children, Lynn Tiede (Tim), Beth Osweiler (Scott), Bart Durfey (Shawna), Noel Durfey (Kelly) and Dean Durfey (Michelle); his grandchildren, Michael, Bailey Zander, Kevin, Alyssa Zander, Eric Tiede, Mick Mickens, Hunter, Kelly Mickens, Alexis Mickens, Diego Avalos, Jacob Osweiler, Heather Durfey, Savannah Durfey, Olivia Durfey, Nicholas Harris, Samantha Niro, Emilyann Durfey and Jeremy Heglin; his great grandchildren, Gage, Ella, Oliver, Stella, Max, Henry, Makyla, Ryder, Preslee, Sylas, Francesca and Gray; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Waidelich and Robert "Skip" Schmokel; and his niece Debra Perry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
