He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCoy and Olive McCoy; his siblings, George (Bud), Herman (Mac), John, Opal Leach and Marjorie Lantz; and his wife Carole McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Horn (John) of Louisville, KY and Larry Scott McCoy of Melbourne, FL; and his grandsons, Taylor Horn (Ashley) of Louisville, KY and Alec Horn (Sydney) of Atlanta, GA..
