It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie H. Hayes of Springfield, Ohio, born in Saint Charles, Virginia, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hayes and Mary Hayes (Taylor); his former life partner Bertha R. Hayes (Stubbs); his son Martin Kirby Eberwein; and his siblings, Ray, John, Doug, Eve, Bill, Joyce and Jim.
He is survived by : his wife Yvonne Hayes; his children, Sherry Miller (David), Leslie Prater (Mark), Shirley Rutledge (Gary), Sharon Fisher and Paul Eberwein; his stepchildren, Deborah Althouse, Kevin Miller, Greg Miller and Gary Miller; his sisters, Louise Fairchild and Becky Hayes; his grandchildren, Jared Berner, Joshua Berner (Sommer), Derek Miller (Katelyn), Darrian Feldkamp (Korey), Dillon Bricker, Josh Prater (Lisa), Jennifer Musson (Lee), Gary Rutledge (Becky), Theresa Hook (Dana), Kevin Rutledge (Kelly), Wesley Thirkield, Robert Thirkield (Angie), Michelle Thirkield, Paul Eberwein (Rachel), Perry Eberwein, Corbin Eberwein and Sarah Eberwein; and his pet Fancy. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
