She was predeceased by: her parents, John Delbert and Julia E. Peaks; her daughter Denise Cobb; and her siblings, Gladys Cobb, Clarissa Hardwick, Dewight Cobb, Ruth Sanders, Paul Cobb, Robert Cobb, Marion Cobb, Phyllis Exon and Gayle Cobb.
She is survived by: her children, Israel Scott, Marian Grisby and Shante Grisby-Hoefer; her son-in-law Roosevelt Hoefer Sr.; and her grandchildren, Ja'Mar Grisby, Joshua Lickliter, Roosevelt Hoefer Jr., Israel Scott, Shaylynn Muhammad, Ra'Mar Grisby, Taveon Cameron, Toshiona Cameron, Shauntre Hoefer, Shaylynn Smith, Ta'Sean Hoefer and Ja'von Hoefer. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
